Alltel has joined the ranks of Sprint and AT&T and have added the HTC Touch Pro to its smartphone lineup. The Touch Pro will set you back $379.99, however there is a $100 mail-in-rebate available, which assuming you get that back, will bring your final cost down to $279.99. In addition, in order to get that pricing you will also need to sign a 2-year agreement.
As for the specs, the Touch Pro is running Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional with a customized version of the TouchFLO 3D user interface. Otherwise, the handset has a 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen display, GPS, Wi-Fi, a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, stereo Bluetooth and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
The HTC Touch Pro can be purchased directly from the Alltel website, as well as in-store.

Samsung Delve, the full-touch handset rumored to debut soon via U.S. Cellular, was officially announced today by Alltel, one of U.S. Cellular’s main competitors.
The Delve is among those TouchWiz handsets that Samsung said, earlier this month, to be ready for the US market. Many will probably compare Alltel’s new handset with Sprint’s Samsung Instinct, since they have a similar design and also similar features.
The new Samsung will come with one of Alltel’s latest applications: nuTsie. This is a music app that allows users to get music from an extensive nuTsie catalog, as well as to stream iTunes playlists.
Apart from the customizable and widget-friendly TouchWiz UI, the main specs and features of Samsung Delve include:
Samsung Delve is priced at $199, with a 2-yr contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. For the moment, the Delve can only be pre-ordered, via Alltel’s website. The handset will go on sale starting November 6, both online and in retail stores.
