Japan, Korea firms to sell new Google Android smartphone by 2009

NTT DoCoMo of Japan and South Koreas KTF will work together towards a new smartphone sporting Googles Android platform said a Reuters report citing a Japanese newspaper. Once they succeed the NTT DoCoMo-KTF smartphone product will be launched in 2009 following to T-Mobiles G1 smartphone the first device to carry Googles mobile OS which started selling this year.
