I’ve been a fan of HP LCD monitors for several years now thanks in so small part to my current 22 incher sitting in the home office – the HP w2207 LCD monitor. So you can imagine my excitement to hear that HP has a new 27 incher available now called the HP 2709m. Ahh.. if I could only warrant upgrading to a 27 inch monitor in the home office right about now.

HP 27 inch monitor Specs and features include:

  • 27 inch diagonal widescreen Thin Film Transistor LCD active display
  • 1920 x 1080 resolution
  • 1,000:1 contrast ratio or 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio
  • 3ms gray to gray response time
  • 400 nits of brightness
  • 0.311 mm pixel pitch
  • Integrated speakers – 2 Watts per channel
  • VGA, DVI-D with HDCP, HDMI with HDCP
  • Measures 26.43 x 18.45 x 8.41 inches

Yes – a thing of beauty of you ask me. Unfortunately you’ll need to fork over $499.99 for this 27 incher.. Yeah.. I’ll need to wait a bit for the price to fall before upgrading to this one.
